Why I Am Disabled!

 Why I Am Disabled!

To put it bluntly, my back is trashed from my ears to my ass. Most of my disks have either turned to stone or are turning to stone (calcifying - stenosis), I have multiple herniated disks, multiple bone spurs off the vertebrae, multiple spinal cord compressions. My shoulders both have something wrong with them (still haven't had MRI's on shoulders yet to determine the extent of damage to them). My hips both hurt 24/7 and there is severe neuropathy in both legs from my low back to the sole of my feet.

I just had MRI done on my pelvis and both hips on 9/28/24 and I am posting the results below. Suffice it to say my hips are royally screwed to the point I should not be able to stand or walk (and I barely can)!

EXAM DATE AND TIME: 9/28/2024 13:15 MDT

INDICATION: Pelvis and hip pain.

TECHNIQUE: Routine multiplanar, multiecho MRI sequences of the pelvis

and hips without contrast.

COMPARISON: Bilateral hip radiographs from 9/4/2024. Pelvic CT from

1/29/2024.

FINDINGS:

BONES:

There is no acute fracture. No osteonecrosis or suspicious marrow

replacing lesion. Laminectomy has been performed at the lumbosacral

junction. No sacroiliac erosions.

INTRA-ARTICULAR STRUCTURES:

Right hip:

There is a grade 3 chondral defect over the medial weightbearing right

femoral head measuring 1.3 cm medial to lateral and 0.9 cm anterior to

posterior. There is a small grade 3 chondral defect over the outer,

superior acetabular dome measuring 0.4 cm medial to lateral and 0.9 cm

anterior to posterior. There is a tear through the base of the

anterior labrum extending to the anterior/superior quadrant.

Left hip:

Grade 3 chondral defect over the medial weightbearing left femoral

head measuring 0.8 cm medial to lateral. Grade 3 chondral defect over

the outer, superior left acetabular dome measuring 0.7 cm medial to

lateral. Small femoral head osteophyte. There is a tear through the

base of the anterior/superior labrum.

PERIARTICULAR SOFT TISSUES:

Right hip:

There is tendinosis of the right gluteus medius tendon without

distinct tear. There is gluteus minimus tendinosis without tear. Short

external rotator tendons and iliopsoas tendon are intact. Rectus

femoris tendon is intact. Adductor longus tendon is intact. There is

proximal hamstring tendinosis without distinct tear. Fat planes

surrounding the sciatic nerve are preserved.

Left hip:

Gluteus medius and minimus tendons show mild insertional tendinosis

without tear. Short external rotator tendons and iliopsoas tendon are

intact. Rectus femoris tendon and adductor longus tendon are intact.

Proximal hamstring tendinosis without tear. Fat planes surrounding the

sciatic nerve are preserved.

PELVIS:

There is prostate enlargement. Urinary bladder is unremarkable. No

pathologically enlarged pelvic lymphadenopathy is seen. Perineural

cyst of the left S2 nerve root measuring 2.2 x 1.6 cm. Small fluid

collection in the laminectomy defect at L5-S1 measuring 2.0 x 1.9 cm.

IMPRESSION:

1. Articular cartilage degeneration of the femoral head and

acetabular dome bilaterally as described. Overall mild osteoarthritis

of the hip bilaterally.

2. Labral tear bilaterally.

3. Proximal hamstring tendinosis bilaterally without tear.

4. Small fluid collection in the laminectomy defect at L5-S1. The

sterility of fluid collections cannot be confirmed by imaging.

5. Prostate enlargement.
