Atlantis - History of the Atlantean Empire

Pretty much everyone in the modern world has heard of Atlantis, The Atlantean People (AKA The Ancients). However, every story, theory, discovery, map, etc. has placed the Atlanteans developing along side humanity in the last 300,000 or so years. That simply is not the case. The truth, is far more unbelievable! You see Humans aren't the first or only sentient hominid species to develop on Earth. Just in the last million years we know (for a fact) there where at least 14 other hominid species besides humans. There is also the pesky issue of 5% of humanity being RH Negative. Meaning they share no DNA with Rhesus Monkeys like the other 80% of humans. But even weirder than that is that 2% of those RH Negative humans also have a third strand of DNA and the accompanying genes that scientist not only have no clue where it came from but have confirmed there is no life on Earth (other than those few people) who have that DNA/Genes. Now I am sure your first thought was but it must be alien and honestly it was my first thought as well. However, it is not only not alien (not from Earth) but it predates humanity by 1.4 billion years. Yes you heard that right. The Atlantean people originally evolved on Earth 1.5 billion years ago (that is 1.4 billion years before Homo Sapiens (humans) evolved. Over the course of around 300,000,000 years the Atlanteans continued to evolve genetically, mentally and technologically. Then around 1.2 billion years ago they detected an Ice Age coming and knew that it would destroy all traces of life on Earth. So how did they survive? They already had technology far more advanced than anything humans have. Including the ability to travel in space (at least in small numbers) to anywhere in this solar system. So knowing they couldn't relocate their 100 billion people to another world in time they went deep underground. Building massive cities all over the Earth...well all under the Earth. Cities 10-20 miles beneath the surface of the Earth, protected by Gravity Shielding. Powered by fusion reactors. Capable of producing everything they needed to survive for 100,000 years or longer. Eventually, after about 100,000 years, they all moved back to the surface of the Earth. Most of them to a continent with no indigenous life forms other than simple animals, that was off the Eastern Coast of what is now known as the Americas. The remnants of that continent are what we call Bermuda, Bahamas, Carribbean Islands today. They eventually built cities all over the surface of the Earth and the oceans. As they continued to advance technologically they were able to build massive space ships and cities capable of space travel and most of them left the Earth and spread out across the heavens. Leaving only two Atlantean cities above the surface of the Earth. One in what is now Africa and one in what is now Antartica. Only a few million Atlanteans staid on Earth. Ones who weren't as fond of their technological advancements as the rest. Ones would were more fond of Humans than their own people. Then came the Great Flood which was so quick and unexpected it destroyed the Atlantean City in what is now Africa and buried the Antartica city in a mile thick layer of ice and snow. The few Atlanteans that survived the Great Flood pretended to be Human and joined human groups and societies as they had lost all their technology and couldn't find the Ancient underground cities or contact any of the Atlanteans who had left Earth. Hence why roughly 8 million (out of 8 billion) humans have that 3rd strand of DNA. Now, remember I said they built huge cities underground 1.2 billion years ago that were protected by Gravity Shielding. Those cities where so deep and so shielded that no Human Technology (yet) has been able to penetrate deep enough in the Earth and/or see through that Gravity Shielding. However, in the last few years we have developed the ability to see Gravitational Anomalies using satellite imaging. There are roughly 100 gravitational anomalies around the Earth. We know the originate deep underground. Those are the ancients cities built 1.2 billion years ago. They are still there, still powered, still functional because the Atlanteans had what we call AI 1.2 billion years ago and built machines that could maintain, repair, replace or even rebuild anything that secumbed to the test of time. Now just imagine the technology, medicines, foods, animals, etc. we could discover that humans have never seen and may never have existed on the Surface of Earth if we can find our way into those Ancient Cities!
